Job Title: Project Manager I – Training Lead Location: Remote work authorized, with occasional travel to customer facilities/company meetings as required. Employment Type: Full-Time Description The Project Manager I – Training Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that enhance workforce capability, support organizational initiatives, and ensure project success. This role requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of training practices and techniques, coupled with the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. The Training Lead ensures that employees and end users are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities • Training Program Development & Delivery • Design, implement, and facilitate engaging training programs across various delivery methods (in-person, virtual, and blended). • Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, and documentation tailored to diverse learning needs. • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance outcomes. • Project & Stakeholder Coordination • Lead training-related projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met. • Collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts (SMEs), and end users to align training with business objectives. • Serve as the primary point of contact for training inquiries and initiatives. • Continuous Improvement • Identify gaps in skills and knowledge across teams and propose targeted training solutions. • Stay current with emerging training technologies, tools, and best practices. • Measure and report on training ROI and effectiveness to leadership. Required Qualifications • Minimum of three (3) years of experience designing and delivering training in any field. • In-depth knowledge of training practices and techniques, including adult learning principles. • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives. • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and collaboration platforms. Preferred Skills and Competencies • Experience in IT or technical training. • Familiarity with instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, etc.). • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, CTT+, or similar). • Strong analytical skills for training needs assessment and evaluation.
