Job Overview

As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist at Google Cloud, you will be responsible for leading go-to-market strategies and business plays, managing campaigns, and providing feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product roadmap. You will serve as a solution sales leader within the direct enterprise business organization, guiding C-level executives and their teams to shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive relationships with clients as a data analytics expert, influencing long-term strategic direction for new and existing clients, and Google Cloud Field Agents (FSRs) and Client Engineers (CEs).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including an enterprise plan across key industries, and focus on building pipeline.
  • Help clients identify use cases suitable for Google Cloud data and analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and quantifiable business impacts.
  • Work with Google Accounts and Technical teams to develop pipelines and provide expertise to create Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners.
  • Align the business against targets and key outcomes to accurately forecast the state of the business for the territory.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in advancing analytics, data warehousing, or data management software.
  • Experience working with architects or client technical prompts to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.
  • Experience with designing, pitching, and deploying an end-to-end sales system.
  • Experience with business and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:

  • Experience with data analytics technology stack (e.g., Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Hadoop/Flash Data lakes, Columnar Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL, and Data governance).
  • Experience with market-leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analytics middleware, or back-end data warehouse technologies.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Beam/ Pub/Sub, etc.).
  • Ability to design, pitch, and execute an end-to-end sales and client transformation strategy aligned to data and analytics.
