Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Customer Care, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service: Answering incoming telephone calls from Customer Care associates, making outbound calls, and assisting with urgent situations as needed.
- Supporting the clinical pharmacist team: Assisting with outgoing MD, pharmacy, and customer calls, and providing guidance and feedback to Customer Care associates.
- Managing tickets and help desk tasks: Completing tickets to support the Customer Care team and Clinical RPh team, and monitoring and processing help desk assigned tasks.
- Maintaining knowledge of policies and procedures: Staying up-to-date on Amazon Pharmacy's policies and procedures, as well as products and services.
- Escalation and resolution: Acting as a primary point of contact for escalated calls, handling escalated calls, and following through until resolution has been met.
- Reporting and investigation: Managing reporting of customer complaints, investigating pharmacy errors, and providing resolution per set SLA's.
- Learning and development: Learning pharmacy laws and regulations nationwide, and staying current on system and technology/software outages.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Working autonomously and proactively identifying areas in need of improvement, with constant collaboration with teammates.
- Customer-centricity and quality: Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer-centricity in all interactions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License: This includes Pharmacy Technician, Trainee, and Assistant Licenses.
- High school or equivalent diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification: PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member: Experience working collaboratively with others is preferred.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail: Experience with organization and attention to detail is preferred.
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications: Experience with medication recognition and identification is preferred.
- 6+ months of relevant experience working with computer and web-based tools: Experience with computer and web-based tools is preferred.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment: Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high productivity and quality standards is preferred.
