Our Sales team works closely with travel agencies, United travel departments, corporate clients and more to provide phenomenal customer solutions that lead to fruitful business relationships. And through valued customer feedback, optimized partnerships, and innovative sales strategies, Sales continues to be the largest revenue-generating department at United.
Key Responsibilities:
The Account Manager - Business Development elevates corporate revenue to support United's expansion goals by acquiring new business that grows United for Business revenue share, strengthens customer loyalty, and deepens brand association and integration. Drive cross-functional alignment with marketing, product, and implementation teams to execute acquisition strategies that deliver on enterprise priorities and measurable outcomes. Pursue and secure strategic lead generating partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that directly contribute to pipeline growth and increased market penetration in targeted geographies and verticals.
• Achieve core new business KPIs by proactively identifying and qualifying high-potential prospects, validating opportunities through data and stakeholder engagement, developing customized client solutions, negotiating and closing agreements, and overseeing a smooth contract implementation process.
• Pursues and secures strategic, lead-generating partnerships, alliances, and collaborations by identifying high-value opportunities, building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and executing initiatives that directly drive pipeline growth and expand market penetration in targeted geographies and verticals.
• Leverages a robust sales enablement tech stack to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the sales cycle. Maximizes pipeline development, accelerates deal velocity, and ensures a streamlined process from prospecting through close.
• Partners with teams across United for Business and internal stakeholders to support the execution of strategic priorities by clearly communicating United's value, delivering product solutions that meet customer needs, and ensuring initiatives are carried out effectively to drive measurable business outcomes
Note: This position provides a remote work arrangement, with travel requirements up to 5% of the time.
What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
• 2 years of related experience:
• Driving new business acquisition and revenue growth
• Building strategic partnerships and alliances
• Aligning product value with customer needs
• Leveraging sales enablement tools for efficiency
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver results
• Highly structured with strong process focus
• Strategic thinker who turns insights into action
• Strong negotiator with solid financial acumen
• Adaptable to change and new technology

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
