Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing software applications such as Excel, Word, and WordPerfect
- Prepare and process mail, including sorting, scanning, and distributing correspondence and packages
- Provide reception services, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting clients and visitors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including electronic files and databases
- Perform routine clerical tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Provide administrative support to colleagues and management, as needed
- Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including data protection and confidentiality protocols
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration or a related field an asset
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a remote work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
