Job Overview
As a part-time delivery driver at AutoZone, you'll be responsible for delivering parts to our commercial customers, picking up returns and cores, and maintaining a safe driving and working environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide WOW! Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experiences through timely and efficient delivery of parts, and by providing expert advice and support to our commercial and DIY customers.
- Drive Delivery Vehicle: Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport parts to commercial customers, including loading and unloading of parts.
- Pick Up Returns and Cores: Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Maintain a Safe Driving and Working Environment: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Assist DIY Customers: Provide expert advice and support to DIY customers in-store, helping them find the parts and products they need.
- Follow Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, dress code, and management direction, including fleet and safety policies.
- Handle Cash and Charge Transactions: Process cash and charge transactions in accordance with company policy, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with current promotions, products, and services through AutoZone systems and information resources, ensuring you can provide expert advice and support to customers.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:
