This role will play a critical part in overseeing the repair team, ensuring effective management of facility maintenance activities, and driving cost efficiency across Lowe's vast retail network.
Your Impact
The Facilities Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Repair Team, providing frontline technical review, analysis, support, and resolution for Facility Management issues. This position will ensure that Facilities Maintenance activities are resolved and paid in the most cost-efficient manner and value to Lowe's. Direct supervision of the 7-9 Facilities Analyst roles will involve approximately +/-600 retail locations and over $300M in annual spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide adequate oversight of the Facilities Analyst positions to ensure effective performance of “break-fix” repair incidents, as well as repairs found from planned maintenance.
- Monitor and review reporting through ServiceChannel and PowerBI platforms to review vendor performance on numerous metrics for vendor meetings, including the adjustments of store assignments and rankings to achieve corporate targets.
- Provide adequate support to the Facilities Analysts and Real Estate Finance to ensure effective receipt, review, processing, and reconciliation of all invoices as applicable to the division.
- Monitor, review, and adjust facility forecasted spend for planned maintenance, reactive repair, and planned projects in conjunction with Real Estate finance to achieve corporate targets.
- Provide trend analysis to forecasted risk relating to project and reactive repair spend with adjustment options on high-risk categories.
- Support the Division Facility Director and Retail Facility Operations Managers in monitoring and reviewing trends surrounding spend and potential savings relative to forecasted projects, including the adjustment of schedules and budgets as required to meet forecast guidance.
- Review, approval, and execution of all vendor proposals, contracts, invoices, etc. within the spending approval authority; evaluate planned repair proposal to determine net benefit to company on repair versus replace scenario in the best interest of ROIC.
- Support the Division Facility Director with the review, approval, and execution of all vendor contracts, proposals, etc. as applicable to the division.
- Responsible for periodic review, analysis, and reporting of key metrics of technical support metrics for evaluation of Repair Team performance (i.e., number of incidents processed, average length of call, proposal escalations, resolutions without vendor dispatch, etc.).
- Responsible for periodic review, analysis, and reporting of key metrics as associated with vendor agreements and performance (i.e., quality of work, response and resolution times, pricing, financial viability, coordination/cooperation with store operations, etc.).
- Collaborate with all Facility Maintenance Groups, Engineering & Construction, Real Estate, and Store Operations to ensure visibility to location-specific and global enterprise activities.
- Work with Division Facility Director to develop and implement criteria for definition of projects to transfer to Retail Facilities Operations Managers or Engineering & Construction.
- Monitor Lowe’s Media frequencies and request from Lowe’s Legal to address concerns or provide insight on Lowe’s Facility Maintenance activities.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in big-box retail.
- 5-7 years of progressive roles in facility management operations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make critical decisions based on a data-supported business case.
- Thorough knowledge of facilities maintenance and how to proactively maintain the health of an asset.
- Excellent people skills at all levels of an organization.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- 3-5 years of knowledge/experience with an asset/work order management software.
- Trusted Advisor to Senior-level operations partners.
- Demonstrated ability to apply principles of cost-benefit disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience in customer service and consistently achieving service-level agreement standards.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $95,500.00 - $159,200.00 annually. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
