About Us

We are a leading e-commerce company, Amazon, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our paid media examination capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for our Chief Initiative group, focusing on the advancement of our paid media spend worldwide. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify ways of working on the efficiencies of our paid media spend and foster revealing and examinations to case and drive choices, and foster KPIs and scorecards to follow drive progress/execution to drive an emphasis on results and execution.

About the Role

We are looking for an autonomous, logical self-starter with sharp critical thinking abilities, who is comfortable with ambiguity and can analyze information and draw inferences. You will be responsible for communicating insights and experiences in the space of paid media, planning and constructing/leading the advancement of examination, BI, and data science projects fully intent on streamlining perceptible paid media and further developing promoting efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convey insights and experiences in the space of paid media
  • Plan and construct/lead the advancement of examination, BI, and data science projects fully intent on streamlining perceptible paid media and further developing promoting efficiencies
  • Work with paid the media information science group and marketing teams on carrying out media blend models
  • Direct specially appointed investigation through database questioning, trailed by astute translation of results and the detailing and correspondence of proposals that drive activity
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product groups to handle business challenges, and track marketing and product execution with an information-driven approach
  • Influence Organized Inquiry Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting tools to make and maintain scheduled and Adhoc reports
  • Examine data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform underlying driver investigation
  • Collaborate with partners to use data (interior data from Perceptible and Amazon, as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies) and address complex business challenges by conveying meaningful insights
  • Conceptualize and run investigation that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further create and further develop our value proposition

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and data science. You will be responsible for working closely with marketing teams to identify ways of working on the efficiencies of our paid media spend and foster revealing and examinations to case and drive choices, and foster KPIs and scorecards to follow drive progress/execution to drive an emphasis on results and execution.

Essential Capabilities:

  • Experience in the space of Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or Consulting in an e-commerce climate or related field
  • High-level SQL experience
  • High-level involvement in at least one industry examination and measurements perception devices (for example Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI)
  • Master in Power BI with a demonstrated history
  • Degree in data science, business, finance, data innovation, statistics, math, or other related field

Preferred Capabilities:

  • You appreciate working in a team of highly connected people
  • You have an enthusiasm for numbers, data, and metrics, but also for conveying meaningful analysis of high quality
  • Solid predisposition for action, highly organized, and ability to complete jobs and tasks with little direction and tight deadlines
  • Superb communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business management and technical teams effectively
  • Experience with participation, membership-based, or media content organizations
  • Experience with and/or interest to learn more on state-of-the-art data science approaches
  • Programming languages: knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming's like R or SAS
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
