Job Summary
We're seeking an innovative and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students across Nevada through our virtual platform. As a Remote Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of students, provide engaging virtual instruction, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement IEPs: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring that they receive the support and accommodations they need to succeed.
- Provide Engaging Virtual Instruction: Deliver high-quality, engaging virtual instruction that fosters academic and social growth, using VocoVision's advanced technology to create an interactive and effective learning environment.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, teachers, and school administrators to ensure student success, sharing progress updates and adapting strategies as needed to meet evolving goals.
- Monitor and Assess Student Progress: Continuously monitor and assess student progress, using data and feedback to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize VocoVision's innovative tools and resources to create a seamless and engaging learning experience, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in teletherapy and EdTech.
Qualifications
- Nevada Special Education Teaching License: A valid Nevada Special Education teaching license is required.
- Degree in Special Education or Related Field: A degree in Special Education or a related field is necessary.
- Experience Working with K-12 Students: At least two years of experience working with K-12 students in special education is required; prior teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required – training is provided!
- Proficiency with Technology: Proficiency with technology and a willingness to learn teletherapy tools are essential.
- Reliable Home Office Setup: A reliable home office setup, including a stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free environment, is necessary.
- Passion for Empowering Students: A passion for empowering students to achieve their full potential is a must.
