About Credit & Fraud Risk Finance
Our Credit & Fraud Risk Finance team is responsible for providing fact-based, decision-driven, and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights and deep analytics. We're a team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about solving business problems through data and insights. As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be part of a team that supports local Finance teams, Risk Management, and Marketing teams with all aspects of Loss Provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Provision especially recoveries Forecasting & Results Analysis of our International Card portfolios, via a close partnership with Chief Credit Officers in the regions
- Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management
- Provide thought leadership in the development/enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models as well as strategic business analytics
- Work cross-functionally on projects across the Risk Finance organization to help AXP meet its long-term growth targets
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large quantities of data
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and a high degree of scalability in PowerPoint
- Proficiency in SQL, Hive/Yellow Brick; Python is preferred
- TM1, Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tool experience is strongly preferred
- A BS/MS in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous card/risk management experience
- 1+ years of work experience

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- A salary range of $55,000 to $105,000 annually
- Bonus incentives
