About the Role

As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll have the flexibility to choose your assignments and work on your own schedule. We're looking for passionate educators who can provide high-quality instruction and support to students across various grade levels and subjects. Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day or long-term substitute teaching services in Bedminster, NJ schools
• Deliver instruction and support to students in accordance with the teacher's lesson plans
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Communicate with school staff and administrators to ensure a smooth teaching experience
• Participate in 1:1 check-ins with your Scoot consultant to discuss school feedback and develop your skills

Essential Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• NJ Substitute Credential
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• Background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and putting students first

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience
• Special education or subject-specific expertise (e.g., Math, Science, English)
• Experience working with diverse student populations
