Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement instruction for students with identified educational disabilities, using data-driven decision-making to inform teaching practices.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, promoting student engagement and motivation.
- Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress, providing regular progress reports and adapting instruction to meet individual needs.

- Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education, attending staff meetings and serving on staff committees as needed.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A Missouri teacher certificate in special education.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- A professional and friendly demeanor, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- The ability to adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
