About the Role

As a Software Engineer on the Data Platform Notebook and API Team at Netflix, you will be instrumental in enhancing the productivity of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Machine Learning Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale distributed system applications and APIs/SDKs, ensuring they are fault-free and scalable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and technical project managers to lead operational initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of Netflix's Data Analysis Tools, focusing on the Netflix Tagging Application, to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Work with GraphQL, Python, Scala, Node.js, and other technologies to build and improve the Data Platform's Notebook and API services.
• Participate in the development of front-end applications using technologies like React and Node.
• Ensure the seamless integration of data science tools and technologies, such as Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Engage with big data technologies and orchestration tools like Spark, Presto/Trino, Druid, and Snowflake to build robust data infrastructure.
• Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in building APIs/SDKs and large-scale distributed system applications.
