About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take control of our day-to-day admin and operational work, helping to drive the business forward. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for removing operational and administrative bottlenecks, enabling the WallStreetZen team to focus on product, marketing, and editorial. You will work directly with the founder to design, build, and manage systems that move the business from 1 to 10, and ensure that our content production is scaled efficiently. This is a fully remote role, open to all time zones, with a requirement of at least 4 hours of overlap with Hong Kong working hours (UTC+8 – 8am-6pm).

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Operations: Solve bottlenecks and enable our SEOs, editors, and writers to produce high-quality, optimized content at scale.
  • Recruit and manage writers, build flexible processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality content, and design a system to continuously update and improve our content.
  • SOPs & Playbooks: Design, build, and manage systems that move the business from 1 to 10, continuously improving processes and systems to help the company scale.
  • Finance: Work with bookkeepers to ensure invoices/receipts are tracked, everything is correctly categorized, and tax/payroll obligations are handled.
  • Admin: Handle day-to-day admin and coordinating activities to ensure smooth, efficient business processes and functions, including managing/triaging the founder's inbox and calendar management.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an operational or project management position, ideally in a digital industry.
  • Extremely organized, with a natural ability to solve problems and get things done.
  • Systems thinker, with high levels of attention to detail and a passion for designing and managing systems.
  • Able to leverage automation and VAs to maximize efficiency, with no task being too small.
  • Team management skills, with the ability to perform well with or without detailed directions.
  • Growth mindset, with a hunger to develop personally and professionally in this role.
  • Deep knowledge of project management tools and software, with basic technical literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Personal finance and investing knowledge, with a passion for the industry.
  • Accounting experience, with an understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • An understanding of SEO, with experience in content marketing and optimization.
  • Experience as a website content manager or managing editor, with a portfolio of successful content projects.
