Old Sturbridge Village is looking to add new and experienced instructors for its innovative program that primarily serves students at the on-site charter school, Old Sturbridge Academy (OSA). This program is where museum programs and classroom specials converge so students can engage in weekly learning experiences. School Program Instructors (SPIs) may also support a similar program that serves students at our partner school from Worcester. These programs include:

● Learning through Experiences (LTEs) for grades K-5 at OSA. In these weekly sessions, School Program Instructors deliver lessons alongside other SPIs on provided museum-themed curriculum. Various units explore topics in history, science, technology, engineering, the arts, and/or math.

● Learning through Projects (LTPs) for grades 6-8 at OSA. In these weekly sessions, School Program Instructors work closely with Village experts to deliver a hands-on experience to a small group of students around a specific project.

● Worcester Cultural Academy Sessions (WCA), currently for grades K-5. This growing program serves students from the Worcester Cultural Academy. Each grade level visits the Village for 3 sessions that build upon each other. School Program Instructors deliver a meaningful learning experience to help students feel connected to the Village.
