Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a plan to drive large Data Analytics engagements into new Google Cloud accounts, focusing on State and Local Government and Higher Education institutions.
  • Drive new Data Analytics workloads in existing Google Cloud accounts and accelerate Data Analytics adoption for key accounts by ramping up Data Analytics spend.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and driving long-term strategic direction.
  • Develop business strategies to accelerate deal cycles in an engaged environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive growth.
  • Work with clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities to leverage Google Cloud's Data Analytics solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in selling information analytics software programs or solutions.
  • Experience in government-level sales or consulting in cloud-based (e.g., SaaS) technology to State and Local Government and Higher Education.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with market-leading Business Intelligence front-end, Data Analytics Middleware, or back-end Data Warehouse technology.
  • Experience working with AI/ML technology included in data solutions.
  • Understanding of Cloud Data Analytics technology stack (i.e., Hadoop/Spark Data lakes, SQL Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, OLAP and Data technology framework, BigQuery, Looker, etc.).
  • Ability to translate business value to technology at the executive level and act as a thought leader in data analytics topics.
