As our first CS rep, you will play a vital role in shaping our customer support strategy and processes, and you will have the opportunity to grow and evolve with our company.

Job Summary

As our Customer Support Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support via live chat and email. You will work closely with our development team to resolve customer issues, gather feedback, and suggest new ways to improve our app. You will also have the opportunity to try your hand at other aspects of our business and potentially switch roles in the future. We encourage initiative and creativity, and we are open to new ideas and suggestions that can bring value to our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Communicate with customers via live chat and email to resolve their problems and provide exceptional support.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously learn about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to provide effective support to our customers.
  • Feedback Collection: Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest new ways to improve our app.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual app tests for new feature releases to ensure that they meet our high standards.
  • Non-CS Related Work: Assist with non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Customer Focus: A passion for helping customers and solving their problems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a basic understanding of CSS and JS, and a willingness to learn more if needed.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Availability: Willingness to have at least 4 hours of overlap with GMT+7 9am-6pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Shopify Experience: Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development or customization.
  • B2B SaaS Experience: Experience working with B2B SaaS products.
  • Language Skills: Additional languages, especially French, Spanish, and Italian.
  • Other Skills: Any other skills that can be beneficial to a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, etc.
