Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Predictive Modeling and Business Intelligence Development for Disney's TV Portfolio
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Data Scientist to join our team at Disney, working on the Disney Diversion (DE) Exploration, Information and Experiences - Information Board and Tasks group. As a Senior Information Researcher, you will be responsible for creating and working on predictive models and integrated knowledge on commitment across Disney's TV portfolio. Your primary focus will be on demonstrating viewership anticipation (in conjunction with addressable estimating groups within Exploration, Knowledge, and Estimation) to enhance Promotion Deals income, on behalf of the DTCI P&L's for digital. You will be a talented problem solver, comfortable with overseeing start-to-finish projects from ETL to predictive modeling, data representation, and BI detailing. We are looking for a self-starter who is proficient in composing code and diving into data with creativity and expertise, while building strong relationships across different departments and partners with effective communication.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Information Quality:** Interpret raw data from multiple sources into meaningful and valuable insights for data-driven decision making with automated pipelines handling ETL. As a well-informed authority on internal/external data sources, ensure data is as perfect as possible and a reliable source of truth, raising irregularities and creating workarounds where necessary.
* **Factual Modeling:** Plan and develop new predictive models using factual and AI techniques to estimate and extend a client's commitment with the Disney stages across various KPIs. Dive into drivers of progress when deciphering predictions and drive changes to the science in the estimate that will improve accuracy.
* **Business Intelligence:** Build representations and connections to communicate results to business partners in an easily digestible, manageable, and automated way. Examine data to identify patterns, reveal potential opportunities, and create a common understanding of digital media usage.
* **Initiative/Organization:** Collaborate closely with business partners (primarily the addressable estimating groups within Exploration, Knowledge, and Estimation) to identify and open opportunities, and with other data groups to improve capabilities around data modeling, testing stages, and data perception. Act as a resource for associates with less experience.
* **Process Improvement:** Drive growth by investigating new measurable methods and conceptualizing ways to upgrade the current estimate and detailing foundation and make processes stunningly better.
* **Activities:** Apply Spry standards through participating in standups, sprint planning, writing business requirements reports, and reviews. Participate in an "Open Source" learning environment where sharing, archiving, teaching, and collaborating with others is the culture.
**Required Qualifications, Experience, Abilities, and Training:**
* **Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of significant experience
+ High proficiency in SQL and Python (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for data analysis
+ Experience with ETL, data pipeline management, and cloud infrastructure for managing large amounts of data (e.g., AWS, PySpark, Snowflake, Wind current, Databricks)
+ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
+ Experience planning and executing predictive models (e.g., linear regression, decision trees, random forests)
+ Experience working with Git
+ Demonstrated sense of ownership and effective project management - you have a talent for investigating complex issues with creative solutions
+ Relational skills - you're able to move between technical and non-technical language depending on the audience
+ Normal curiosity - you enjoy digging deeper to find the higher perspective and are open to learning new technologies
+ Client/Client-Centric - you have strong relational skills, building relationships across teams and work to acquire trust and advance business objectives
+ Modesty - you're willing to contribute to the team, inner self to the side, with an enthusiasm about helping others
+ Comfort with complex data and adaptability in dynamic conditions
* **Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience using web frameworks (Django) and JavaScript libraries (ReactJS, JQuery) to build professional frontend and backend web applications focused on user experience
+ Experience executing Docker containers
