Your Role: Social Media Content Moderator
As a Social Media Content Moderator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' social media platforms are safe and respectful for all users. You'll be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, including images, videos, and written posts, to ensure that it meets community guidelines and standards. If you're a social media enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content on our clients' social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and standards
- Participate in frequent refresher training to stay up-to-date on the latest policies and procedures
- Comply with performance indicators and parameters defined by our clients
- Investigate and resolve complex issues regarding content within agreed-upon turnaround times and standards of quality
- Maintain corporate confidentiality policies and handle customer information with care
- Participate in continuous training programs to develop your skills and expertise
- Moderate traumatic, sensitive, and potentially violent or offensive content with care and attention to detail
- Provide trends and insights to develop improvements to overall processes and recommend policy and product improvements
- Stay up-to-date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates, and Community Standards
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bilingual French and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Ability to work on-site at our Port St. Lucie, Florida location (not a remote work position)
- Strong emotional intelligence and resilience
- Comfortability reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate or explicit
- Attention to detail and ability to be flexible in order to meet changing business needs
- Logical problem-solving skills and availability to work various shifts
- Experience with Windows operating systems and strong computer skills
- Ability to type 25 wpm and be over 18 years of age
- High School Graduate or GED or higher (proof required)
- Predictable and reliable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- 6 months of customer service experience
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Organization and work prioritization skills
