About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engagement Manager to join our Healthcare Vertical team. As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will be an expert in the Workday Deployment Methodology and will lead and manage mid to large deployments, resolving complex issues in creative and effective ways. You will also support executive-level expectations by providing internal suggestions to management based on field experience, as to how to potentially enhance the Workday Deployment Methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage one or more Workday Financials/HCM/Payroll implementations concurrently
  • Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/SOW
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources working on your implementations
  • Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed
  • Manage and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Perform risk management to collaboratively minimize and manage project risks proactively with customers
  • Work with the client project manager to identify and resolve issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes
  • Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices
  • Be a liaison for Professional Services when interacting with Sales and other internal stakeholder groups
  • Ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completing their implementation
  • Assist in the transition of the customer from Professional Services to Product Support
  • Ensure the project is delivered within the budget outlined in the SOW
  • Present client with change orders in the event they're asking Workday to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, UKG, or similar applications
  • 3+ years of experience in project management with HCM, Payroll, Supply Chain, or Financial implementations
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company
  • Excellent organization, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working virtually with internal teams, 3rd parties, and customers to identify and resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframes
  • Track record of providing guidance and mentoring to those Professional Service resources working on their implementations
  • Strong background in Workday deployment methodology and processes

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • A salary range of $126,300 - $189,500 per year, depending on location and experience
  • Eligibility for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus
