About the Role

The Partnerships Manager Legal Technology is a key member of our sales team, responsible for collaborating with strategic partners to support the go-to-market efforts of our legal technology solutions. As a sales-focused professional with a growth mindset, you will be obsessed with achieving goals by placing customers and partners at the center of focus. You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute strategies for growing our partner-attached book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed defined sales targets for partner-attached sales of legal technology solutions
  • Manage existing partnership relationships, serving as an intermediary between Thomson Reuters sales and go-to-market teams and a selection of strategic partners
  • Cultivate new partner relationships, prioritizing opportunities, defining go-forward strategies, and operationalizing a selection of strategic partnerships
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders at partner firms and grow the partner-attached book of business
  • Serve as an extended member of the product, marketing, and sales ecosystem, supporting relationship building, opportunity development, deal progression, and closure
  • Lead collaboration efforts between Thomson Reuters and partner organizations to proactively develop and execute a strategy for growing a pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Product and Segment Marketing to plan, develop, and execute demand generation initiatives in collaboration with partners
  • Engage the Thomson Reuters direct sales teams to articulate the unique value of each partner and support their understanding of how working with partners can benefit their customers
  • Engage the Partner sales team to promote Thomson Reuters products and services, helping them understand how collaboration can benefit their clients and lead to more sales opportunities
  • Support deal closure by identifying roadblocks and working across organizations to remove barriers
  • Keep partners apprised of product strategy and roadmaps and collect input and feedback to support ongoing refinement of product and go-to-market strategies

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role in Alliance or Partner Management, relationship management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving sales through partnership channels across technology and services industries
  • Exceptional strategic relationship account management and consultative sales skills across multiple sectors/segments with a focus on growing the size of each account
  • Partner-oriented mindset; the ability to listen to partners and consistently follow through on commitments
  • Collaborative personality; comfortable working across many functions and teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with law firms, general counsel offices, and legal technology solutions
  • Experience working with global systems integrators and global accounting and consulting firms
  • Familiarity with Thomson Reuters businesses, customers, partners, and products; understanding of competitor and customer landscape and trends across Thomson Reuters industry verticals
