Job Overview
We're looking for a talented Project Manager to become an integral part of our Manufacturing & Supply Chain division. As a Remote Project Manager - Supply Chain & Manufacturing, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing tool crib operations, leading the crib team, and driving projects to successful completion. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset, including project management, leadership, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the tool crib to ensure optimal storage of parts and supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
- Lead and direct the crib team in daily tasks and operations, fostering a positive and inclusive work atmosphere that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
- Conduct data analysis and create reports to facilitate informed decision-making, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
- Foster collaboration among team members and management, cultivating a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.
- Maintain professional communication with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective exchanges, resolving issues and negotiating solutions as needed.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasionally operate a forklift, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment (certification is a requirement).
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of business principles and practices.
- 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or industrial environment, showcasing your ability to lead teams and drive results (internships considered).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including functions such as VLOOKUP and the creation of work templates, to analyze data and create reports.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating presentations, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong command of spelling and grammar, alongside excellent typing skills, to produce high-quality reports and communications.
- A valid driver's license, demonstrating your ability to operate a vehicle and travel as needed.
