Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Drama Coach to develop and implement the educational arts program at Clark Lane Middle School. As a Drama Coach, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, and students to create a vibrant and engaging arts program that promotes creativity, self-expression, and academic achievement. This is a supplemental position with a $2,085 stipend per year, offering a unique opportunity to inspire and mentor students in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive drama program that aligns with state and national standards for arts education
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate arts education into the curriculum
- Plan and deliver high-quality drama instruction, workshops, and performances for students
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity, self-expression, and respect for diversity
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support artistic growth and development
- Participate in school events, performances, and parent-teacher conferences as needed

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theater, or a related field
- Teaching or coaching experience in drama or theater, preferably in a middle school setting
- Strong knowledge of drama and theater techniques, including play production, acting, and directing

- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and administrators
