Your Impact as a Customer Experience Specialist

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll be the face and voice of our company, interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds and resolving their inquiries in a timely and professional manner. You'll work in a collaborative and engaging environment, with opportunities to grow and develop your skills. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer support via telephone and/or internet, including instant messaging and email
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving simple and basic support issues, such as address changes, processing orders, warranty, or billing/payment
  • Escalating more technical product-related issues to the appropriate Product Support Specialist
  • Troubleshooting customer problems, identifying the root cause, and using tools and resources to determine the best resolution
  • Tracking and documenting inbound support requests and ensuring accurate notation of customer problems or issues
  • Updating customer information and ensuring accurate entry of contact information
  • Meeting standards of job, including quality standards, adherence to schedule, and average handle time
  • Providing guidance and/or mentoring to less experienced associates
  • Completing other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Customer Experience Specialist, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • To be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction
  • A typing speed of at least 25 WPM
  • Proficiency in PC operation and navigation
  • Effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
  • The ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
  • The ability to stay composed and objective under pressure
  • Strong listening skills
  • The ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment
