Job Overview: Data and Analytics Consultant

This position supports the Medicaid Coordination of Benefits team, ensuring the accuracy of other essential insurance carrier data and supporting the functions of the coordination of benefits team through data analysis. As a Data and Analytics Consultant, you will play a critical role in our organization, utilizing your analytical and technical skills to drive informed decision-making and improve the efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of other essential insurance carrier data to support the Medicaid Coordination of Benefits team.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Utilize technical skills, including proficiency in QNXT and SQL Server Management Studio, to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including the coordination of benefits team, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Apply independent thinking skills to solve problems and make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in QNXT and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Medicaid COB knowledge and experience.
  • Independent thinking skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of claims processing experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
