Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, including greeting them, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed.
  • Managing inventory, including checking in and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Performing administrative tasks, including data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Staying up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including those related to pharmacy operations, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as pharmacy operations, customer service, and inventory management.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as pharmacy, healthcare, or business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare environment, with a focus on customer service and inventory management.
  • PTCB certification or equivalent experience in pharmacy operations.
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescriptions.
  • Experience with store stock control systems and software applications.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
