About Operation HOPE–North County
Operation HOPE–North County (OHNC) is a year-round shelter and wraparound program supporting families and single women on their path to stability and independence.
Role Summary
The Partnerships Coordinator supports OHNC’s corporate fundraising plan to raise $250,000 through sponsorships, CSR grants, matching gifts, cause-marketing, and volunteer engagement. This is a hands-on coordination role focused on research, outreach support, scheduling, materials, and CRM hygiene—freeing senior staff to close gifts.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach Support (50%)
• Research and qualify corporate prospects; maintain a prioritized target list.
• Draft outreach emails, schedule discovery calls/site tours, and prep call sheets.
• Track activity, contacts, and next steps in the CRM (e.g., Bloomerang/Neon/Salesforce).
Proposals, Portals & Stewardship (40%)
• Assemble proposal packets and sponsorship decks; manage brand/logo swaps and benefit grids.
• Prepare grant portal submissions with accurate attachments.
• Coordinate recognition deliverables (social posts, website logos, newsletter mentions) and simple impact updates.
Volunteer & Matching Gifts (20%)
• Coordinate turnkey corporate volunteer days (dates, rosters, light logistics).
• Promote and track matching gifts, volunteer grants, and workplace giving opportunities.
90-Day Success Milestones
• Build a vetted list of 80–100 target companies (tiered by capacity/warmth).
• Book 10–12 first meetings for senior staff; prep briefs for each.
• Support submission of 6–8 tailored proposals/sponsorship packages.
• Stand up a simple dashboard (meetings, proposals, wins, revenue, gift mix).
Qualifications
• 1–3+ years in development, partnerships, sales coordination, or similar admin role.
• Strong writing, organization, and follow-through; comfort juggling many details.
• CRM and Google Workspace fluency; basic Canva/Slides skills a plus.
• Familiarity with CSR portals and sponsorships preferred.
• Mission alignment; North County San Diego connections a plus.
Schedule & Work Environment
• Remote, with flexible scheduling within PST core hours; occasional evening/weekend support for events (rare).
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly rate: $20; non-exempt.
• Pro-rated PTO/holidays per policy; tools provided as needed.
