Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Remote Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our clients and partners through multiple communication channels, including chat, email, and inbound calls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for answering questions, modifying or canceling reservations, giving price quotes, and providing support to partners by adjusting listing calendars, inventory, and pricing. You will also be required to report listing edits to the correct departments, handle credit card disputes, and maintain quality control standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and assist partners with updating or troubleshooting issues
  • Multitask and converse with multiple partners and/or customers via phone and chat simultaneously
  • Edit calendars, pricing, and assist other departments as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues and test to confirm if it is a bug or human error
  • Teach calendar management, website usage, and other tools to partners
  • Gather evidence for credit card disputes and write responses for the credit card processor
  • Use basic problem-solving techniques to help partners with issues or complaints and know when to escalate to a supervisor
  • Keep up with conversations in a chat setting and share information when needed
  • Effectively communicate website errors, glitches, inventory issues, etc. to the Manager on Duty or correct department
  • Proficiently use our website, extranet, chat, and other required programs
  • Read and understand listing information, including locations, restrictions, cancellation policies, and refund policies
  • Calculate refunds and order modifications when prices change or an order is canceled
  • Perform any task required by a supervisor

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Reliable high-speed home internet
  • A working cell phone for text messaging vendors or team members
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Experience with custom computer software and the potential to learn as updates occur
  • Ability to multitask and use several screens and/or programs at the same time
  • General understanding of online travel applications and services
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be over the age of 21
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays (call center hours vary based on season, 8am-7pm central time)
  • Quiet and distraction-free place to work with minimal background noise
  • Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
  • Located in FL, AL, LA, MS, or GA
  • Able to follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center environment
