Job Summary

We're seeking a dynamic, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Ecommerce Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value debts that enhance our product selection, pricing, and customer experience. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor issues, and develop strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global trends. Monitor competitor efforts and identify opportunities to grow our market share.
  • Seller Acquisition and Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
  • Seller Enablement: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor issues, and develop strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our ecommerce platform.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and seller engagement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in ecommerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Consultative Sales Skills: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding sales objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced conversation and presentation skills, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical skills and quantitative abilities, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ecommerce Experience: 2+ years of ecommerce experience is a plus.
  • Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
