Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your mission is to offer top-notch customer support through phone, email, online chat, or social media to customers who have questions, concerns, or confusion around a particular product or service. You'll be the voice of the brand, and a strong relationship between our clients and their customers starts with you. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Talking to customers over the phone, email, online chat, or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Maintaining and updating customer information as necessary
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalating calls to supervisor when necessary and appropriate
  • Responding to requests for assistance and/or possible processing of credit card authorizations
  • Tracking call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Providing feedback reports on call issues related to downtime and/or training issues
  • Upselling to customers as necessary

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Customer service experience is a plus, especially phone-related customer service
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel applications
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus

In addition to these qualifications, we're looking for individuals with stellar customer service skills, an overwhelming desire to make lives better, and the ability to use phone and computer systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong listening/comprehension skills, and the ability to stay composed and objective are also essential.
