Key Responsibilities

As an Inpatient Application Analyst II, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes in support of assigned applications/systems, including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Leading and/or coordinating conversions, application/system testing, and documentation of system procedures.
  • Participating in and providing input on training design and development, and assisting in training execution in relation to assigned projects.
  • Providing go-live support and serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing maintenance/support and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of IS functional areas across IS, including networking, security, telecom, servers, infrastructure, and interfaces.
  • Developing robust understanding of end-to-end business unit (e.g., RCO/Clinical) and how workflows, decisions, and build align across functional areas.
  • Leading key groups of activities specific to end-user support and effectively facilitating meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Serving as a go-to resource for reviewing updates/upgrades from the vendor, tickets, change management, projects, or upgrade-related build.
  • Assuming additional responsibilities to facilitate the achievement of team goals and contributing to improve work methods, outcomes, and team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative, or revenue cycle), information technology, or health information technology experience.
  • OR Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role.
  • Current Epic certification(s) or willingness to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in the assigned application.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields).
  • Current Epic certification(s).
