About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ranking Director - Merchant Management to join our team on a full-time telecommuter basis in Oklahoma. As a key leader, you will oversee the performance of subcontractors serving Aetna Medicaid members across the state and drive business operations forward. This role requires occasional visits to our Oklahoma City office, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Subcontractor Performance Management: Direct the performance of subcontractors serving Aetna Medicaid members throughout the state and Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma business operations.
  • Strong Subcontractor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor management teams and directors to ensure contractual requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Client Service Excellence: Ensure proper prioritization of State and Plan requests to guarantee outstanding client services are provided to members and suppliers.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Recommend appropriate actions, strategies, and/or solutions to address business issues.
  • Project/Program Management: Oversee all aspects of project/program management, including planning, coordination, development, and execution, considering financial implications while prioritizing work, resources, and time.
  • Project Delivery: Confirm that project deliverables and business operations meet business objectives and that all expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Government Liaison: Liaise directly with government officials and report on project status.
  • Claims/Experiences Review: Review claims/experiences and complete projects as necessary.
  • Claims Guidance: Interpret claims guidance and/or policies and be responsible for progress execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support and assist with additional functional activities as needed.
  • Data Exchange and Reporting: Oversee data exchange and reporting.
  • Interdepartmental Relationships: Manage relationships across departments or different functional areas.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Reside in Oklahoma.
  • Possess relationship management expertise.
  • Have project/program management experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with PC, keyboard navigation, and MS Office Suite applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Quickbase, Asana, etc.).
  • Have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel in-state up to 10% of the time, with mileage reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Medicaid experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Claims processing experience.
