Job Summary
As a Remote Call Center Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective and current members requesting road service. You'll provide Five Diamond Customer service, answering questions, and providing detailed information regarding AAA road service products and services. Your goal will be to ensure member retention, renewal, and new membership sales, all while working from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities
- Takes road service calls while being mindful of members' emotional and physical wellbeing, gathering required information to provide timely service.
- Utilizes department software to ensure efficient dispatch, prioritize calls for safety issues, and research membership status.
- Provides information to members on road service policies and procedures, explaining the benefits of AAA membership and selling memberships.
- Determines the appropriate course of action for each call received, consulting with supervisors for members with special circumstances.
- Tracks estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) and acts to resolve long-standing service calls, acting as an interface between Dispatch and members to enhance customer service.
- Responds to a wide variety of member inquiries, referring members to other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Customer Service experience (Call Center experience is a plus).
- If applying for a bilingual role, you must satisfactorily pass a translation assessment during pre-hire screening.
- The ability to work from home with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Availability to work at least one weekend shift.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to read maps and utilize navigation resources.
- Persuasive skills to convince others to buy goods/services or change their minds or actions.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and operate a computer with relevant software applications.
- If bilingual, verbal and written fluency in the stated target language and English.
