About the Role

The Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day running of our Sales Center's Warehouse, Equipment Service, and Fleet departments. As a key member of our Operations and Sales Center Team, you'll be responsible for making critical personnel decisions, managing inventory, and providing statistical analysis for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform necessary tasks and duties assigned by the supervisor, ensuring seamless operations and meeting company standards.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to keep the management team informed and up-to-date.
• Rotate items on shelves, prioritizing those with shorter shelf lives or expiration dates to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Analyze statistical information and reports to identify opportunities for perpetual refinement and implement cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Direct the product rotation process within the facility to maintain a constant flow and ensure that products are delivered to customers on time.
• Configure the warehouse to increase operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity.
• Manage the transportation of goods through incoming and outgoing trucking activities, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
• Provide training and clear guidance to ensure that forklift operators and warehouse staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to complete their duties safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A managerial background of at least two to three years, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a relevant field, although equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
• A valid driver's license and a motor vehicle driving record that meets CCBCHC's criteria.
• Adaptability, business perception, and the ability to make informed decisions while following company guidelines.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their full potential.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Work Environment and Company Culture

Compensation and Benefits
