Job Summary

As a Customer Service Team Member, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. You'll work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, supporting customers with their shopping needs, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, providing solutions and support to customers as they shop our store
  • Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards and engaging customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes to maintain a well-merchandised and in-stock store
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in a customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with inventory management and stockroom operations
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other retail technology
  • Knowledge of art supplies, crafts, and home decor products
