About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Associate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless customer experience, driving sales, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating empathy and care in all interactions, and proactively identifying and resolving potential service issues.
  • Sales and Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our products and services, and effectively communicate their benefits to customers. Identify opportunities to drive sales and promote our loyalty programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Accurately perform clerk duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions, while following company policies and procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, checking in merchandise, and updating pricing information.
  • Pharmacy Support: Assist pharmacy staff as needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy to support our pharmacy operations.
  • CVS Services and Loyalty Programs: Embrace and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and apply up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, and perform visual tasks that require close visual acuity.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology.
