About the Team and the Role

The Employee Excellence team is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization. As the Employee Engagement Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our internal communications and engagement program, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to increase employee engagement and satisfaction. You will work closely with key partners, manage communication strategies, and analyze customer feedback to inform data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications plans to engage and inform employees across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and deliver content across various internal channels
  • Author and publish employee-facing newsletters, emails, and other communications to ensure timely and effective information sharing
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to employees
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including team members, leaders, and other departments
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop creative solutions to complex communications challenges
  • Manage and maintain organization wikis, Slack channels, and announcements to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and engagement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related field
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various audiences
  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Asana, Trello, or similar platforms

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • 5+ years of experience in employee communications, internal communications, or corporate communications in a tech company
  • Proven experience managing global employee engagement programs for organizations with 5000+ employees across multiple continents
  • Advanced video production skills, including experience with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, or Final Cut Pro
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and its application in driving business decisions
