Key Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with internal partners and teams to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages to support business needs
  • Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, developing complex reports, and performing complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
  • Designing and developing applications for internal clients
  • Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and presenting analysis and reports to internal clients and stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas: Microsoft Access, Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Transact SQL, and MS SQL Server
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to internal clients and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with reporting platforms, such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
  • Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
  • Database knowledge and experience with Hadoop, Oracle, and Oracle PLSQL
  • Crystal Reporting experience
