Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide individualized support to students with disabilities in Washington. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and implement personalized learning goals for students with disabilities, ensuring their academic and developmental needs are met.
  • Adapt Curriculum: Modify teaching methods, materials, and instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Manage Classroom Behavior: Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and address any behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with Staff and Families: Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and communication regarding student progress.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
