Internship Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Android & iOS App Developer Intern to join our technology team. You will assist in designing, developing, and testing mobile applications that enhance ADollarClass’s learning and engagement platforms. This role is ideal for aspiring developers looking to build real-world projects in the nonprofit and edtech sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications for Android and iOS
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly and accessible interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin/Java for Android and Swift for iOS (or cross-platform tools like Flutter or React Native)
• Integrate APIs, databases, and backend services with mobile apps
• Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization to improve app performance
• Document development processes and contribute to project planning
• Collaborate with the tech team to align app features with ADollarClass’s mission and user needs
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with Android SDK, iOS SDK, and/or cross-platform frameworks
• Basic understanding of mobile app architecture, REST APIs, and database integration
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check (required for onboarding)
