Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring to students in person at one of our Ann Arbor, Canton, or Northville offices, as well as virtually and remotely
• Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Relay knowledge in an effective and individualized manner, using a variety of teaching methods and materials
• Build strong relationships with students and their parents, providing regular progress updates and feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in college entrance exams and test prep strategies
• Travel to tutoring locations as required, with reliable transportation

Qualifications and Experience

To be a successful College Test Prep Tutor, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences:

• Desire to be a role model for high school and college-bound students
• Organized learner with subject-specific expertise and demonstrated achievement
• Highly motivated and proven ability to relay knowledge in an effective and individualized/customized manner
• Previous tutoring experience, especially ACT and/or SAT prep, in a one-on-one setting (a tremendous plus)
• Ability to tutor one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote learning settings
• College Prep applicants should have scored in the 90th percentile or higher on their own college entrance exam(s)
