About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Grant Portfolio Associate to join our Philanthropic Investment team. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the mission, vision, and impact of The Commit Partnership by cultivating, securing, and stewarding investors in our organization's work. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in fundraising and grant management, working alongside senior grant managers and learning from the best in the industry. As a Grant Portfolio Associate, you will provide project management support to our entire institutional grant portfolio, utilizing existing systems and processes, and developing new ones where appropriate to proactively coordinate grant deliverables and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the project manager for the entire institutional grants portfolio, ensuring seamless execution of projects and deliverables
- Manage grant deliverables and deadlines using Monday.com, ensuring submission of complete and accurate applications within grant deadlines
- Collect and/or create content for reports and grant attachments, conducting prospect research to identify, cultivate, and solicit new grants and investments
- Update and maintain the grants and contracts calendar, working collaboratively with the team on all fundraising activities, including stewardship events
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and other events to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Administrative experience, with a proven track record of preparing documents, filing, and gathering/reporting information
- Strong project and time management skills, with experience working within project management systems
- Excellent writing skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience in fundraising is preferred, with experience working with Salesforce also desirable
