Job Overview

As a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of Mason OH, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students. You'll work with a talented team to deliver high-quality math instruction, using our proprietary curriculum and teaching practices. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, available after school and on weekends. You'll have the option to work in our center, online, or via a hybrid delivery model, giving you the flexibility to choose the environment that works best for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor students in grades 2-12 using the Mathnasium Method^™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Qualifications & Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
• An eagerness to learn and be trained in our proprietary teaching methodologies
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize your workload

• Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
• Provide work authorization
• Pass a background check
