As a key member of our customer service team, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth shipping and receiving process. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, order status requests, and resolving shipping-related issues via phone, email, and chat, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
- Order Processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, including picking, packing, and labeling shipments, and track orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries, managing shipping costs and providing customers with shipping options and estimates as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to relevant departments, working collaboratively with internal teams and logistics partners to find solutions.
- Returns and Exchanges: Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and positive experience, and initiate necessary steps for restocking or refurbishing returned items.
- Quality Control: Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness, ensuring customers receive the correct items in perfect condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, including tracking numbers, shipping labels, and customer communication.
- Communication: Keep customers informed of order status, shipment tracking information, and delivery expectations, providing transparency and peace of mind.
- Feedback Collection: Collect and document customer feedback and insights to improve products and services, driving continuous improvement.
- Transparency: Ensure Cin7 is up to date with sales orders and branch transfers, providing visibility into all items on order for the team.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, shipping, and receiving roles, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach and ability to handle customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using shipping and inventory management software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a passion for luxury goods and customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of jewelry materials and components, with an understanding of the luxury goods industry.
- Previous experience working with luxury brands or in a high-end customer service environment.
