We are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Associate to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Production Associate, you will play a critical role in our production operations, working with a range of CNC and manual equipment to fabricate high-quality steel products. You will be responsible for operating equipment, interpreting blueprints, tracking jobs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. You will also be expected to assist in other departments as required, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual equipment, including Portable Pneumatic Punch, to fabricate steel products to exacting specifications
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production
• Complete daily tracking of jobs, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns
• Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is clean and safe at all times, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs
• Meet daily production goals, working efficiently and effectively to achieve production targets
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required
• Assist in other departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications, including:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with strong communication and comprehension skills
• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, to accurately interpret measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, and techniques used in metal working operations, including tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
• Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Standards and our Quality Management system
• Ability to effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment, including CNC and manual equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet schedules and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in steel fabrication or a related industry
• CNC programming and operation experience, with knowledge of CNC equipment and software
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and report maintenance needs
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment
