About the Position
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our applicants, providing them with the support and technical assistance they need to navigate our application processes. This is a 100% remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of a collaborative and customer-centric team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and chat, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve applicant queries.
- Provide technical assistance to applicants, ensuring they can complete their applications smoothly.
- Navigate our computerized system to respond to and troubleshoot applicant questions, continually improving your knowledge and efficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask as needed.
- Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with applicants from diverse backgrounds.
- Become and remain knowledgeable about all blithequark application programs to offer top-tier support.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest practical solutions to enhance our customer service experience.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have a background in customer service, preferably in a startup or dynamic environment. Here are the essential qualifications and skills we're looking for:
Essential Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of effective communication both orally and in writing.
- Technical savvy with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- A strong ability to work with people from varied cultural, socioeconomic, educational, and experiential backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges with ease.
- Capability to handle a high volume of activity across phone, email, and chat channels.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- U.S. work authorization.
