Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Remote Live Chat Assistant. As a Live Chat Assistant, you'll be the face of Blithequark's online customer support, providing timely and effective assistance to our clients through live chat. This is an entry-level position with ample opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through live chat to provide assistance with inquiries, technical issues, and product information.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring that all concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or team member for resolution, ensuring that customers receive the support they need.
  • Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers, providing solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company information, enabling you to provide informed support to customers.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer service experience is not required but highly desirable; a passion for helping others and providing exceptional service is essential.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software systems quickly; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace; ability to work from home or a remote location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and electrical services, or a willingness to learn about the industry.
  • Experience with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
