**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
* Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
* Communicating and collecting copay amounts
* Obtaining authorizations
* Working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
* One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology
