Job Overview

As a MAA Professional Music Teacher at Music and Arts, you will have the opportunity to teach music lessons to a diverse population of students, communicate with parents, and collaborate with our store team to maximize the lesson experience. Key Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to a diverse population of students, including children and adults, and adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of each student

• Work with students in our clean and safe studios or through online lessons, using a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage and motivate students
• Collaborate with store team to maximize lesson experience, including participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of new programs and initiatives
• Develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, adhering to Music and Arts' policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in music education, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The following qualifications are essential:

• Bachelor's Degree in Music Education or a related field, or equivalent substitutable experience
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience, preferably in a private lesson setting
• Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications
