About the Role

As Senior Manager, DET Marketing Reporting and Analytics, you will be responsible for driving the long-term strategic vision for how the DET Marketing Group sets, measures, and reports performance metrics. You will conduct in-depth analyses, derive strategic insights, and inform marketing tactics that elevate the entire organization's approach to marketing television domestically and globally. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong combination of hard and soft skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with executives and marketing leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing Planning & Analysis to standardize KPI expectations setting process across DET brands, focusing on Disney Branded Television and National Geographic.
  • Lead discussions on KPI setting and formulate concrete recommendations with clear rationale.
  • Refine and enhance the reporting process for Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, ABC, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, and National Geographic, providing insightful interpretations of data to make it consumable for executives and actionable for teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of title- and genre-level performance and address brand-specific and DET-wide reporting needs.
  • Establish databases and resources to facilitate more thorough analyses.
  • Contribute to the creation of performance narratives post-title launch.
  • Examine historical performance trends to inform future expectations and benchmarking.
  • Develop and iterate regular reporting for DET Marketing, including weekly awareness and content reports.
  • Engage with leaders from engagement, media, brand, and research teams to gather data-based insights and actionable marketing recommendations for Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and supporting teams regarding marketing performance.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of progressive work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced organization, with a minimum of 4 years in media and entertainment, strategy, strategic planning, or consulting.
  • Advanced skills in Looker, Tableau, and SQL, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
  • A hands-on, team-player mentality, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure, work with ambiguity and complexity, and manage competing priorities with minimal direction.
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape and the ability to interface and build relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and tools.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
